Coronavirus Vaccine Information
Posted on 20 Jan 2021
Vaccinations for Little Bushey Surgery Patients are well underway at the Allum Lane Hub in Borehamwood.
Little Bushey Surgery patients are being invited by our team to attend the vaccination centre according to priority groupings.
Update: We have now virtually booked all our over-80s to have had their Covid vaccination jabs. We have now commenced with the booking of our 75-79yr old age group. Once this cohort is done, we will proceed to the next group: 70-74yr olds and Clinically Extremely Vulnerable
You may recieve a letter from NHS England/Public Health, inviting you to book on the National System, if you do receive this letter, please go ahead and book an appointment.
Our admin team will be contacting patients via phone call to book appointments, but we are also starting to send SMS Text messages to allow patients to be able to directly into the vaccination appointment book, please keep an eye out for the text message
Please DO NOT phone your surgery to enquire before then.
At first, the vaccine will be offered to people who are most at risk from coronavirus, before being offered more widely.
We expect the vaccine will first be offered to people who live in care homes and care home workers, people aged 80 and over, health and social care workers in England.
The final decision on who will get the vaccine first will follow advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI).
Many thanks for your patience in this matter.
