Staff Training Days – Protected Time for Learning (PTL)

Protected Time for Learning (PTL) is about improving patient care by providing a dedicated learning time for our team away from their busy day-to-day work. It facilitates continuous professional development ensuring that the practice team’s skills and knowledge are up to date.

PTL events take place ten times a year and are delivered in partnership with Herts and West Essex Integrated Care Board.

On our PTL afternoons, we are closed from 1.30-5.30pm 

• Our local healthcare provider, Herts Urgent Care, will provide assistance to any patients who have an Urgent Medical problem while the practice is closed. Please call 111.
• For common conditions, patients may contact their local community pharmacy.
• If you have a Medical Emergency whilst we are closed, please call 999.
• Please call back when the practice reopens for any routine enquiries.
