Practice Nurse - Laura Petrucci (F)

Our practice nurses maintain the excellent standards of nursing care, and are charged with making sure that the levels of immunisations and cervical smears remain high.

Nursing care includes:

• dressings
• childhood immunisations
• cervical smears
• chlamydia screening
• ECG
• 24hr blood pressure monitoring
• travel advice and vaccinations
• dietary advice
• contraceptive advice
• B12 and other injections
• anticoagulation clinic
• NHS Health checks
• new patient checks

Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Jirina (F)

Jirina Horinek is our Advanced Nurse Practitioner supporting patients and their families with long-term conditions. Our aim is to support you to get the right care, in the right place, at the right time. We will support you to independently manage your health conditions and we will work with you to reduce your chances of being admitted to hospital.

Jirina is also our Minor Illness Enhanced Practitioner and can be seen for a range of illnesses including; bites/cellulitis/boils/abscesses, blood test results, colds, conjunctivitis/eye infections, coughs/chest infection, Haematuria – blood in urine, nose bleeds, period postpone, sore throats, sprains & strains, urine infections & vomiting & diarrhoea

Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Cathy (F)

Cathy Furbank is our Advanced Nurse Practitioner, supporting patients and their families with long-term conditions. Our aim is to support you to get the right care, in the right place, at the right time. We will support you to independently manage your health conditions and we will work with you to reduce your chances of being admitted to hospital. Cathy specialises in Diabetes care.

Tracey & Emma are our HCA's

Clinical Pharmacist - Darshak (M)

Darshak, is available on Wednesdays. He carries out Medication Reviews & Hospital Discharge Medication changes as well as Asthma reviews.  Please book an appt with reception.

Meet Our Practice Team

Senior Administrator

Veena, our Senior Administrator, works from 9.30am to 6.30pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. 

Business Manager

Grishma, the Practice Business Manager, deals with Finance & IT in the practice. She is available from 8.30am to 2.30pm, Monday, Tuesday & Friday.

Secretary

Hilary is here on Monday, Thursday & Friday from 8.30am to 2.30pm. If you have any queries with hospital appointments, referrals, or private paper work please phone the surgery number and ask to speak to Hilary.

Reception Manger

Cara is our reception manager and patient liaison. If you have any problems with the way the surgery is run please let her know. We run our own surgery complaints procedure, feel free to speak with Cara.

Receptionists

The Doctors are supported by a team of well-trained staff consisting of part-time receptionists: Cara, our Reception manager & Julie, Jay, Saira, Clare & Emma. These highly skilled ladies work on a shift basis to cover the surgery opening hours of 8.30am to 6.30pm.

GP Practice Assistant

The team are supported by Ashwini, our GP Practice Assistant. She deals with administration and clinical tasks on behalf of the GP's freeing up their time to focus on the patient.
