Meet Our Nursing Staff
Laura Petrucci & Margaret Shears
Our practice nurses maintain the excellent standards of nursing care, and are charged with making sure that the levels of immunisations and cervical smears remain high.

Enhanced Care Nurse
Jirina Horinek is our Enhanced Care Nurse supporting patients and their families with long-term conditions. Our aim is to support you to get the right care, in the right place, at the right time. We will support you to independently manage your health conditions and we will work with you to reduce your chances of being admitted to hospital.
Jirina is also our Minor Illness Enhanced Practitioner and can be seen for a range of illnesses including; Bites/Cellulitis/boils/Abscesses, Blood test results, Colds, Conjunctivitis/eye infections, Coughs/chest infection, Haematuria – blood in urine, Nose bleeds, Period postpone, Sore Throats, Sprains & Strains, Urine Infections & Vomiting & diarrhoea
Health Care Assistant
Tracey, the HCA is available from 8:30 to 12:00 (some days from 7.00am). She can take bloods, carry out NHS health checks, Spirometry and 24hr BP monitoring. She is also the smoking cessation officer. Please book an appt with reception.
Manisha Devani is our clinical pharmacist, if you would like to discuss your medications or book an appointment for a medication review please call reception. You will be booked in with our Practice Clinical Pharmacist at the earliest opportunity.
You should attend for a medication review every 12 months during your birthday month with the Practice Clinical Pharmacist so that we can ensure that you are getting the most from your medications. Ask at reception when your next review is due.
Manisha can also be seen for the following;
Long term conditions such as Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, etc
Falls – if you have fallen or are worried about falling
Meet Our Practice Team
Veena, the Practice Office Manager, works from 8:30am to 5:00 pm, Mon, Tues, Wed & Thurs. If you have any problems with the way the surgery is run please let her know. We run our own surgery complaints procedure so ask Veena to sort things out for you.
Grishma, the Practice Business Manager, looks after Finance & IT. She is available from 8:30am to 2:30 pm, Mon, Tues & Fri.
Hilary is here on Monday, Thursday & Friday from 8:30am - 2.30pm. If you have any queries with hospital appointments, referrals, private paper works please phone the surgery number and ask to speak to Hilary.
The Doctors are supported by a team of well-trained staff consisting of seven part-time receptionists: Julie, Deborah, Cara, Jane, Margaret & Lesley. These highly skilled ladies work on a shift basis to cover the surgery opening hours of 08:30am to 6:30pm.
Our Medical Summariser, Margaret, ensures that information we receive form your previous surgery, or from hospital appointments or test results, is added to your medical record so all your details are up to date.
