For Long-acting reversible contraception
LARC, is reversible birth control that provides long-lasting (think years) pregnancy prevention.
Patients can access the standalone LARC clinic in Hemel Hempstead.
This clinic offers the following LARC services:
- Implant fitting
- Implant removal
- IUD/IUS fitting
- Onward referrals to additional services where needed
The clinic is based in: Speedwell Pharmacy, 161 London Road, Apsley, Hemel Hempstead, Herts HP3 9SQ.
Patients do not need a GP referral to access the LARC service.
Patients can call 01454 808100, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm to book in for treatment.
The clinic is funded by the Local Authority and is free of charge.
