Please ask for an early appointment if you need a fasting blood test.
For those with a new problem you will be asked to see the doctor before booking in for any tests.
West Herts Hospital Blood Tests:
West Herts Hospital has introduced an online booking system for all its blood clinics to avoid long waits and overcrowding.
Patients must have a hardcopy blood test request form, which you can collect from the surgery. Phlebotomists will not know which tests are required so will be unable to see patients without a form.
The Swiftqueue system is easy to use.
