Dr Rama Vancheeswaran is the Director of Research at West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust, where her research focuses on COVID-19, interstitial lung disease (ILD), cancer, pulmonary embolism (PE), asthma, and COPD.

With over 25 years of experience as a respiratory consultant, Dr Vancheeswaran provides expert care across a broad range of respiratory conditions, including chronic cough, asthma, COPD, bronchiolitis, bronchiectasis, cancer, thromboembolic disease, sleep disorders, all respiratory infections and ILD. Her approach emphasises collaboration with her patients, ensuring a holistic and personalised treatment plan.
