LARC, is reversible birth control that provides long-lasting (think years) pregnancy prevention.
patients can access the standalone LARC clinic in Hemel Hempstead.
This clinic offers the following LARC services:
- Implant fitting
- Implant removal
- IUD/IUS fitting
- Onward referrals to additional services where needed
The clinic is based in: Speedwell Pharmacy, 161 London Road, Apsley, Hemel Hempstead, Herts HP3 9SQ.
Patients do not need a GP referral to access the LARC service.
Patients can call 0345 300 2350 to book an appointment.
This telephone line is available between 8.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
The clinic is funded by the Local Authority and is free of charge.
