Shingles Vaccinations for Patients aged 70-79 years old Posted on 7 Feb 2020

Patients must have reached the age of 70-79 years of age by 1st September 2019

To book in for a jab please call 0208 386 8888 and make an appointment with one of the nurses

Why should you have a shingles vaccination:

·         a safe and effective vaccine

·         It reduces the likelihood of shingles – a painful and debilitating illness

·         If mild shingles does occur, the vaccine reduces the likelihood and severity of the possible post herpetic neuralgia

·         Shingles vaccine is recommended even if the individual has had shingles – leave one year before vaccination, or as long as possible if reaching age 80 (end of eligibility)
