Oct Half Term Football sessions in St Albans for kids
Posted on 8 Oct 2021
Following the Sopwell Community Trust’s hugely popular summer football sessions, they have organised a week of football games and training with FA trained coaches at Samuel Ryder Academy from 25th to 29th Oct 3pm to 5pm daily.
These sessions are open to boys and girls aged 8-12 years old of all abilities. Priority will be given to children who receive free school meals, universal credit, child tax credit, refugee families and/or fall under the pupil premium scheme.
This is a part of our COVID recovery program to reduce social isolation and improve the mental and physical well-being of young people in St Albans.
The coaches are St Albans locals who have faced and overcome challenges in life through sports; they have put together a thoughtful and nurturing series of games and training.
Please note all volunteers are DBS checked.
